Songwriting Workshop (with touring musicians Amina and Annah)!

Songwriting

  • Free

  • Open to youth 10-24*

  • Monday, August 26th, 4-6pm

Acapella songs empower us to use our voices as instruments of creative dissent! Come learn how to write your own song with support from touring musicians Amina Shareef-Ali and Annah Anti-Palindrome!

About the Facilitators, Amina and Annah:

Amina is a mixed race queer transfemme folksinger from the Bay Area, and Annah Anti-Palindrome is a NorCal-based Jew Witch & queer performer! They both have been involved in DIY spaces and radical politics for a long time and are committed to pushing back on all forms of oppression. They’re playing a show at Marrow later in the evening!

You can find them at shareefali.com and annahantipalindrome.com
