What is Masculinity: A Community Discussion (all ages)

What is Masculinity: A Community Discussion

  • Free, all ages*

  • Friday, June 28th, 4-5:30/6pm

Come engage in a collaborative community discussion about masculinity, or come and support/listen! All levels of engagement are welcome. We will brainstorm ways to heal toxic masculinity and how to conceptualize  diverse definitions of masculinity. Questions we investigate will look like, “What are the positive elements of masculinity?” “What does ‘strength’ look like when not defined as having power over others?” “How can we open ourselves to ‘the rich complexity of manhood’?” and more!

This conversation is open (and encouraged!) to ALL AGES, and folks of all gender identities! We just ask that adults and folks with other privileged identities remain conscious of the amount of space you occupy in conversation, and that you help prioritize and highlight youth voice!

Facilitated by our intern and youth community member Junix!

*Enrollment is not required for this event, there will be a mandatory sign-in.

Enrollment (open only to folks 24 and under) is required for the majority of our programming. If you're a young person and plan to come back, you should enroll! For more details check out our enrollment page!
