Crafting & Creating for Mental Health
Suggested donation $5 per workshop or $10 for month (toward supplies). Free for members and students.
Do you sometimes feel bummed, uncreative, or unproductive? This ongoing workshop series will look at the benefits of keeping your hands busy and producing things as a way to cope with depression, anxiety, and other common mental health struggles.
We will explore LOW PRESSURE (ie: you don't need to be an "artist" to do them) mediums, including bookbinding, carving, coloring, and a few forms of weaving/braiding/embroidering - plus whatever y'all think of or want to share!
You don't need to stay for the full 3 hours, but please try to arrive close to 4pm out of respect for whoever is sharing their skill.
Come to a single workshop or come regularly!
The last Friday of every month is ALL AGES.
