Crafting + Creating for Mental Health
$5-20 sliding scale (for the full series, paid on first workshop you attend)
Mondays 6:30-8pm through the end of August
Do you sometimes feel bummed, uncreative, or unproductive? This workshop series will look at the benefits of keeping your hands busy and producing things as a way to cope with depression, anxiety, and other common mental health struggles. We will explore LOW PRESSURE (ie: you don't need to be an "artist" to do them) mediums, including bookbinding, carving, coloring, and a few forms of weaving/braiding. Come to a single workshop or come to them all! *The instructor is not a mental health professional, but has years of experience working with youth struggling with mental health, as well as years of experience crafting and creating for her own sanity.
