Over two dozen vintage windows pulled from a single house in NE Portland have been creatively altered by a diverse group of local teens and established artists.
Come join us for the opening of this exhibition, which will include a silent auction* benefiting the artists and Marrow's programming. (No pressure to participate in the auction - all are welcome to just come look at the art!)
*How it works: each person interested in bidding will be given a number (to keep bidding anonymous). Each window will have a bidding sheet, where bidders can write their bid amounts and personal number. When the opening is over, the largest bid, at the bottom of each sheet, wins the piece.
Bidders may hang around to see if they've won, or will be contacted via email. Winners who do not pay within one week will forfeit their piece to the next highest bidder. The show will remain up until August 23rd, at which point winners may come retrieve their windows! We accept cash, credit or PayPal as payment. The payment for each window will be split 50/50% between the artist and Marrow (unless the artist has decided to donate 100% to Marrow).
